audio mod zvs help

today i was bored so i built a simple audio modulator for my zvs driver. I used

at the bottom of the page to modulate it. i built it with a Tip122 transistor and this audio amp

and when i powered it up on 12v it worked excellent. I messed around with it for a couple minutes and than my mp3 player battery died so i stopped to recharge it. when it was charged up i went to power it up and it dident work. All i got was a bunch or resonation noise coming from the flyback and i could barely distuingish the music i was playing and only when it hit a deep bass note it would produce a faint purple spark and i tested my zvs, flyback,audio amp,mp3 player,connections and transistor and they all were ok. I am completely puzzled why this is doing this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
