Hi All,
I have a TEK TDS210 scpe with the comms module and I am after a copy of the software for the unit. The orginal version to go with the moudle was free but Tek no longer have it on there site . I spent 3 hours on google and could not find anything.
Does any one have a copy of wavestar they can send me or know to some other free software that allows me to download scope shots from the unit? It will be very hand to be able to do this and it cable be done from hyperterminal but its a bit long to type in the commands etc.

Just a heads-up if anyone is planning to use this software.
The WaveStar 2.8.1 30 day demo software from the OEM site is some of the worst coding I have seen in years.
I was curious about the GBIB interface they use and discovered a few things:
1.) When you install, the tray monitor also probes the LAN looking for attached devices. 2.) Uninstall may leave many of the support drivers on the system. 3.) When you uninstall it may LEAVE YOUR SYSTEM INOPERABLE. Make sure to backup your system DLLs like MSVCRT.DLL on older systems or you will have to reinstall your OS.

Thanks all,
I should get a copy from the rep.
Wavstar is crap its probing all my lan devices at the moment and found the printer server as a scope I wish it was a TDS3000 sersies like it stated it was
Tek do have some free software for the scopes called OpenChoice but I have not tired it with a TDS210 yet but it says it should work.

Carbon_rod, you've never seen any of my coding
Adam, I think I might have a copy of the "old" Wavestar (before they turned it into a bloated mess like carbon_rod found out) on a machine somewhere. I don't have the install disk but IIRC, it works if you just zip up the install directory and copy it to another machine. I'll see if I can find it later this week.
