This one has me a little puzzled,

The Ford Fuel Injectors are the magnetic type. They are saturated with high-water content liquid for a few days. The cores work great at first, but then behave as if they are clogged/jammed if left for only a few days.

These are stainless steel, I can only guess it is the seals (corroding), return spring degenerated, or the slug may be magnetized.

Before I take a saw to open this part up, I wondered if anyone encountered this type of issue?

hehe.. if it was mine i would use an ultrasonic cleaner on the beastie, with deionised water or something like IPA as the solvent.

This won't hurt the cleaner, they are designed for this.

you can get these from CPC, for around £25 UKP

My mind is trying to comprehend how such a fluid came to be in your fuel. Did you pee in your fuel tank?

More likely that water accumulated at the bottom of the tank, as happens on nearly every car if it is left for more than a week.

(both me and my GF LOL'd at the "pee in tank" comment!!)

Ureic acid is not good for water =P
if such a situation arose methalhydrate would work better.

The valve is not for normal automotive use. It was new, used in clean system, and fed by a clean fuel pump.

Although, perhaps forcing through some sodium hydroxide etc. may clean it. :)
