i am interested in using this design for the power supply of a lifter. I have had no luck in finding online where to buy a voltage multiplier for a tv. can anyone help???

just use a rectified tv flyback (found in most tv's today)

Looks like a good schematic, if you can find a tripler from a tv. I have never found one, but they come up on ebay sometimes.
I would still use a 555-driven DC flyback, however.
