My father got this transformer from his friend few years ago.
What i measured: prmary resistance is .95 ohms and is wound with ~1.5mm wire, and it gives .77V/turn. I have a feeling that its somewhat overrated and should be good for over .8V/turn. I thought of rewinding it for ~5kVac for jacob's ladder or sgtc etc. How many VA do you think this thing could give with fan cooling? If it's worth it I could try to make my father to give it to me and then rewind it, but if it's not good for at least over 1kVA continuous I could as well leave it sitting where it is (it weights some 15kg).

Comparing it to a mot, your power figure may be just about right.
Now, I'm not sure how much HV windings would you be able to fit on it since it looks wery crowded, and you'l be in big danger of arcover to another leg.
You mihgt want to wind it center tapped, but still I'm not sure if you'l be able to get high enough voltage. Personally I wouldn't bother to wind a transformer that won't be able to power a SGTC, so I would be for like 10kV min.
Some people on 4hv have wound their own transformers, and some quite big ones, I'm sure they can give much more practical information.
