2 output CT

I had an idea to simplify a SSTC driver circuit a bit by avoiding the Schmitt-trigger stages and use only two non-inverting driver IC's.
I wanted to do the inverting part on the feedback CT itself, by using two out-of phase windings on it.

Clamped CT output is already perfect squarewave and I don't see what else it needs.

The problem is, when I clamp one winding to ground to pevent it from going negative, I'l also clamp the output of a second winding.

Who can think of a neatest solution for this? Should I just use a second CT?
Or some kind of burden on the output?

I also imagined that series resistor on both sides would drop only clamp voltage and thus could be larger value. It's voltage drop would allow other side to rise.

You might want to try centertapping the CT. Or clamping both ends of the secondary winding. It would be cool if a single CT could act as the GDT aswell.

Excuse my ignorance, but why do you want to use two non-inverting drivers? Why can't you just use an inverting and a non-inverting driver, tie the inputs together and feed them both of the same CT winding? Or am I missing something here...

First, non-inverting have proven to have somewhat smaller delay than inverting ones.

And more importantly, I want to incorporate neat safety feature into the circuit; coil can't be turned on unless it receives a startup pulse; I won't be able to flip the switch on the coil and turn it on, I can only do that over remote/interrupter. If bridge loses power for any reason and feedback dies, the remote needs to be cycled again in order to restart.

The starting circuit will be nothing more than a resistor, cap and a de-Qing diode controlled by a small mosfet.
The cap is slowly charged and then dumped into the driver input at start.
