Hard to do something cool with caps alone. I have used a string of 40 0.0022 2.5kV ceramics to make a 55pF 100kV cap. I use this when I need a low value high voltage cap such as on my dual ignition coil setup giving 4 inch sparks to brighten the spark. The only shot I have of it is this one of my multi-colored sparks below. TDU

I only bought them cause they were super cheap and 100 of them. I have 0 experience with marx gens and things of that nature. I was just wondering if they were useless or not. I know they pretty much are for tc's unless it was a tiny coil.

The caps are quite small, even if you used up them all you could barely scrounge an MMC for a small TC of like 100-200VA. It would probably also be one of most indestructible MMC's in it's class.
Other than that, you could build a small 100kV marx with them. Use several in series for each stage, and don't expect much from them.
The thing I believe they would be most useful is high-frequency CW multiplier. They are sturdy Polypropylene caps and would give a great 100kV supply with proper diodes and high-frequency transformer.
