The crystal oscillator actually has all 14 pins, as you say, pin 7 = 0V, pin 14 = 5V as usual.
There is no output on pin8 but on various other pins I find two pins have a similar 10 MHz sinewave but clipped at the bottom one pin has a nice 10 MHz sinewave. One pin has +5 V on it. Some pins seem to be at 0 V.
I vaguely remember there is a buffer onboard so I need to find the input pin for that and one or more pins is/are for the trimming capacitor.
