Why not just get something like a hx4700 or something similar? 1/2 the cost (bin on ebay), way more power, probably more support (considering there are actually people using it), and it even comes in a nice rugged magnesium case wink

Why not indeed? I couldn't be assed installing Linux on mine, though, I just got the free Embedded VC++ development tools for Windows Mobile.

They sell gaming platforms (Nintendo DS is about $120), routers (linkSys wireless L series $60), and even Cellphones ($80 includes camera and SD card slot) that have native linux support.


I have no idea what part of the Kit is patented, but it costs about 3 times more than its worth.

Anything like that costs 3 times more than it's worth because all the middlemen and dealers need to eat.
