Hi. Im hooking a line voltage Thermostat up to a 240v AC unit.
The instructions say to connect black to hot, and then complete the circuit with the blue wire. But from what I understand, my 240v outlet has 2 hot wires of 120v each correct? So which one do I run through the thermostat?
Here are the instructions; I am hooking it up the (Cool Only) application. The diagrams are on the top right hand corner of the scan. And the “Cool Only†diagram is the 4th one. I’m also including a diagram of my socket, It has a red wire on the top right, a black wire on the top left and a white wire on the bottom left.
