Well I have been working on a new interrupter for my DRSSTC and now I am done I think I did a good job shielding it but I have one question. How necessary is it to separate the coaxial wire ground from the interrupter ground I did separate it but I wounder if they should be connected? Here are some pics. It is connected via a quick disconnect BNC the scope wave form is cleaner than anything I have ever seen. My traces on the board are extremly think and the hole thing is under a ground plane.

Well, with my SSTC interrupter I connected the coax ground to the interrupter ground, and also the driver ground and it ran perfectly every time.

The reason I was worrying about this is I was planing to connect the coax ground to RF ground to striking wont cause problems.
