hi im working on a multistage coil gun im have searched ebay and cant find cheap ones is there a good source for them? used is fine and i need them rated for around 400 volts and several hundred amps these worked

i have 2 but i need more i got them for 15 or so dollars

I've found the 50RIA* work fine. They're fairly cheap too, I bought a new 50RIA120 for 20 dollars.

you only need to look at the pulse ratings, the 50RIA120 can take 1.5kA for 8.3ms IIRC.
some of the semikron bricks can take upwards of 5kA pulsed. I've been using my SKKT132/12E to switch a 1.3kJ bank with great success.
