I'm trying to find a cheapish device to do data collection to a PC. Ideally it'd function as a multi-channel DVM, can measure V+R, autoranging capability, etc. that I can control from a VB, C program. I don't need a fast sampling rate. Any bright ideas?

I have made this using an ET-ARM board (LPC2119 microcontroller) and programming it in C to interface with a Visual Basic program I made for the PC. It uses a serial link.
The microcontroller supports up to 4 multiplexed channels so only a change in software is required. I have made some other slower simpler graphers for things like temperature etc.
here is another showing motor voltage vs time per half rotation (0 is up the top)
