I needed a reliable gate driver for my induction heater so I started learning how to use Eagle CAD so I could make one. What would have taken the average person 10 minutes took me 10 hours (which is a careful estimate) and lots of redoing the circuit. Anyway, since so much work went into it I decided to share the results.
I hope uploading the eagle files works... I made the board in some crude surface mount technology for two reasons, the first is that I find it helpful to have the traces on the same side as the components to see what is going on, the second is that I can't be bothered drilling all those holes.
If any of the new members find this useful but don't have Eagle, I can make PDFs. I stick to SMT most of the time when I am building things too, for the very same reason. If you dont need through hole for the power, and you can find SMT that you can work with, why worry about holes.
