Morning, Has anyone tried or thought about using a raspberry pi as an interupter or midi pwm for a coil yet? Of course using fiber optics to isolate it at a good distance. I am new to the raspberry pi and still learning it's capabilities which seem like it has a ton of potential for experimenting with a coil. Any thoughts or ideas?

In theory it should work fine, but the documentation is not very good. Accurate timing means you have to use hardware peripherals that can be tricky to use.
What model do you have?
