"Self contained method of generating lift on impermeable surfaces"..

see Link2

um.. I suggested this literally years ago and as far as I know it hasn't been commercialized.
The plan here is to supercharge it and use relatively cheap materials to get massive multiplication
of the lift capacity, catch is that it would need radioactive materials.
I suppose some sort of photo-voltaic that absorbs the released energy from the isotope and then
stores it might work, then your hover-board would work fine the next time you needed it.
The actual lift would be an ionocraft effect similar to a Lifter, but the main advantage is that all the
dangerous high voltages would be isolated and the outer plate would be effectively grounded.

Using the "Hendo Effect" ie rotating the highly charged magnetic source plate at high speed under
the PG plate would allow the use of powerful magnets to lift off conducting surfaces and gain more
height.
This also removes any chance of it failing, as the helium atmosphere could be monitored and
in the event of a breach it just shuts down.

Working on this at the moment, looks very promising.
Any alpha emitting isotope should work, ideally you'd need to encase it really well but as long as the
casing was sufficiently robust it would be no more dangerous than a box of smoke alarms.
Using a short half life (eg years) low energy alpha emitter would make it safer, ideally something
relatively heavy that is inert and therefore not absorbed. 241Am?

Your link is not related to your post, and the post seems to be pretty out of context without any reference. Googling "Self contained method of generating lift on impermeable surfaces" does not seem to bring up any relevant information either. Do you have the correct link?

Yes, this is more of a proof of concept based on my work in 2008.
I think its possible, but to make this work would need a lot more research and materials that are not available cheaply.
However the helium based Hendo effect device could be
feasible now thanks to Seagate and others with their He3 and He5 drives.

This thread does not make much sense so I am closing it.
