I don't think I posted this before, I conducted this experiment several months ago, but want to share it.

using my 3D printer, ive been able to have moderate success using a normal PVC extrusion on a prepared copper surface, and with minimal under cut. under-cut seems to be the least limiting issue. getting the mask on, and with sufficient detail seems more difficult.

Hahaha really nice! Thumps up. Quite creative.
Any test on trace-pitch and trace-width thats possibe?
Maybe one can improve by melting the plastic by heating the PCB on top of a toaster just to close gaps if they exist..

Good idea, your result so far seems to be somewhat better than toner transfer at average (right now mine is horrible, due to no-name OEM toner)

Do you have a heated bed on the printer? Maybe try to turn up the temperature.

Yes the glass plate is heated, and I could go much hotter on the bed and nozzle.

the pitch looks like 0.05 inches would be reliable.
