after experimenting with a Royer IH i built some time ago, I am convinced that the royer circuit is not sufficient for delivering enough power to be a useful tool, nor is it reliable enough, and it runs on an odd power supply (36v batteries, right off the wall socket would be much more convenient). so i've decided to try to build a manually tuned TCSR setup similar to Bwang's setup, but using a mosfet 1/2Hbridge similar to Uzzor's setup instead of IGBT's
i plan on powering it off of a 120 vac 60Hz 20A receptacle the parts i plan to use: FETs: infineon 47n60cfd driven via GDT freewheel diodes:RHRG1560 series schottky diodes : MBR4045 Tank cap: eurofarad snubber 3.1 microfarad @600vrms, 152 Arms oscillator: SG3525 directly driving 2 IRFz44r which will drive the GDT via push-pull from a 15v supply 20a fuse for protection is there anything i am missing here?
