CFL inductors

 		I have a bunch of burnt CFL lamps. They have a small inductor that looks like a transformer with some 300-400 turns. I would like to use them to make a small hv power supply (500 V maybe) by winding a primary over the coil. Any suggestions for a simple circuit to accomplsh this? thanks in advance.
