A parabolic reflector should give you a collimated output. Your reflector is probably more in the shape of an ellipse at the moment. Very cool work :)! How are you cooling it?

On the bottom of the lamp there are some air slots in the reflector. I use a blower from a hairdryer which is directly mounted into a pipe under those air slots Thanks!
