questions about steves half bridge flyback driver

can this driver output high current arcs. also do i use the original flyback primary or can i make my own primary but how many turns and what AWG should i use. can i parallel the MOSFETs so that i can give it more power.
also how do i build the GDT
i also have attached the schematic

It's a matter of experimenting with the turns fpr your particular flyback as far as I know. Here's a good bit of info on GDTs, there's plenty more out there

This circuit is just your general run of the mill half-bridge circuit. The primary on the flyback needs to be optimized for the particular flyback being used. One, you don't want to overvoltage the secondary and arc the secondary windings so you need to be careful about how much voltage you drive the half-bridge with.
