C. Do not ask for step-by-step instructions, detailed plans, or complete schematics. If anyone wants to make them available, they will. Try Google or the HvWiki.

MOTs are pretty lethal devices. If you need to ask for a schematic to construct such a highly dangerous high voltage source as a 12 MOT stack, you probably have no business building one in the first place.
MOTs are not neon sign transformers and are closer in operation to pole transformers. If you get shocked by a NST, you'll get a second chance. However, if you get hit with a MOT or pole transformer, you most likely will not get a second chance.

i kinda knew about the schematic and i just wanted clarification. as for the the dangers of MOTs i have played around with them before and i am currently working on a Quad MOT stack.

Hmm, if you write up the safety measures you will take and what risks that you will face while operating this, i will help you with the schematic, i could not do it feeling that you would be at risk to yourself otherwize.

the safety procedures i would use are: 1. long PVC "chicken stack" 2. rubber gloves. 3. a big cutoff switch. 4. a circuit breaker and fuse. electronics knowledge. 5. common sense.

Here it is:
For the PTM, i really do reccomend using a foot switch of sorts.
If you really insist on experimenting with these dangerous things, please take into account and follow all instructions below, and take note of the disclaimer at the end.
A. Use HV Gloves THIS IS 10.5Kv and EXTREAMLY LETHAL CURRENTS!
B. Keep away from the MOTs as all but 2 of them are floating, meaning they are LETHAL TO TOUCH.
C. Use a chicken stick THAT IS GROUNDED, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE A CHICKEN STICK WITH THE LIVE.
D. stand as far away from possible from the arcs.
E. use a welding mask, these arcs are really bright and can cause Arc-Eye and PERMANENT RETINAL DAMAGE.
F. If you read all these dangers and decide to follow through with this please take note that: -4HV and all its members are not held responsible for your actions. -I (Thomas C Williamson) am not held responsible for your actions. -The owner of the website (Chris Russell) is not held responsible for your actions. -NOBODY BUT YOU IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS

I'd call that a 5 MOT stack, on the basis that there are 5 HV winding in series. That's the difficult bit, supporting a large winding to core potential without the insulation breaking down. A 2 MOT stack is usually OK, more than 2 is asking for trouble.

I don't agree with this precaution. Gloves could give you a false sense of security and encourage you to get in close, or even touch things. Then your safety is dependent on the gloves not having a pin-hole, not being damaged, and you not getting near anything with an exposed arm or something. Unlike mains voltages, 10kV is quite capable of jumping through holes or tracking across surfaces.
So my A would be ...
A. Don't use gloves, just feel vulnerable and use the feeling to help you stay the F away from anything live.
