Hi,
I want to add a high pass filter to the audio input of a plasma speaker. What cutoff frequency would you recommend? Meaning, what is the lowest produced frez of a plasma speaker? My arcs are roughly 2-3 inches, at high currents. The half bridge is running at 120v so I have plenty of power available

I guess the question is - what is your goal? Are you looking to have just a plasma tweeter? If so, then you can use similar cut-off frequencies used in conventional tweeters.
For general use, you don't need a high pass filter. The response of the arc itself naturally attenuates the low end anyways.

For my plasma speaker, I used around 70 Hz cutoff frequency (first order CR filter). Setting it lower didn't noticably increase bass, just distortion. That was for a "full range" speaker...
