I recently got a black and white tv. Reallly old one. was really happy. when i opened it wishing for a awesome ac flyback.. I found a modern like flyback. A little weird one.. It has only 1 knob. Focus.. and only 2 wires. a black wire with a suction cup and a white wire. And believe me. When i say the weirdest flyback in history. i mean it... Since as you know my zvs got busted. And 2n055 fried. Am left with a lame old cfl i had lying around. a little 11 watt. so i though. just for the hell of it And i spent 25 mins trying to figure where the primary is... None of those common methods worked.. But atleast i found it :D.. The flyback looked a modern like. And had some weird block that was stuck on it. 9 pins and once hooked it up to the cfl. IT sparks :( no arcs D: it gave sparks. produces ozone. And the 11 watt cfl is in grave. So 2 things i might guess. 1.. INTERNAL CAPACITOR 2.. MULTIPLIER..
I had no time to test if it was ac or dc? but i know that the capacitor stores a charge.. so i am guessing on dc. but idk really. Any idea how to burn out the internal capacitor. ?
