I am planning to make a wireless power demonstrator for my school project.I had built Marko's wireless power demonstrator before.But this time I want to transmit at least 100W of power.Can I just scale up Marko's wireless power demonstrator?As far as I know,its similar to the Royer oscillator/Mazzilli ZVS driver.And I have seen people building 1KW or more powerful Royer oscillator based induction heaters.
My circuit now can transmit about 10W. My resonant frequency is about 600KHz. My MOSFET(47N08) get hot fast,how can I fix this problem?Can I put an inductor in serial with my transmit/receive coil to lower the resonant frequency and reduce switching loss?

Yes, I second that. It seems that MOSFETs can sometimes be too slow and spend time in the linear (resistive) region rather than hard switching causing heating. A simple 'scope check should show this, but watch out for excess voltage..

I scope the gate voltage and found it look like a sawtooth wave.Should I decrease the value of my gate pull up resistor (100ohm)?What value should I try?
