Amateur SETI, or if you want to build something more interesting a solar water heater.
Also this would be handy for tracking weather balloons and satellites if the LNB is replaced with a wideband Peltier cooled unit to lower the noise floor.

Quick ones; put a microphone near the focal point for a long-range microphone, at the focal point put just a small funnel and a plastic tube to your ear... wow! quick solar oven with alu foil (I read that removing the paint and polishing isn't worth the effort) exploding wire at the focal point, deafen yourself from 100m ? MAY even be used to focus to a nearby target I suppose.

A dish could be used for radiative wireless power transfer. This is distinct from how it's usually done with non-radiative inductive/capacitive coupling where a dish would not be useful and could make it worse. It's much harder to make radiative power transfer efficient, though it has been done.
