It is correct to place the capacitor in a zvs inverter as close as posible to the primary?

Yes. In a flyback or induction heater the voltage and current between these resonant components is huge. You introduce leakage inductang and resistance the farther away they are. I would solder the caps terminals directly to that of the coil.
