Hello, I have these diodes, and I'm hoping that they have a high reverse voltage.. Does someone recognize these diodes ? The first ones have a large green band and a small red band, the second ones only have a yellow band. I didn't find anything on google regarding this kind of color codes.. I also don't know where they come from.

I don't think they're color codes... they're just indicating the cathode as with any other diode.
HV diodes usually have those colors though. Maybe they do mean a certain amount of reverse voltage capability, but only for the manufacturer's sorting purposes?

I think the bands are probably just to indicate the cathode end unfortunately.
There's a small chance the color might indicate the voltage, in which case the color values probably match up with resistors. So green red could mean 5.2kv and yellow could mean 4kv.
They do look high voltage (because of the length) and decent current (lead diameter.) I guess you'll have to test a few to destruction to get an idea of their ratings.

Thank you all for your replies.

How do you know they are diodes?
Haha good question ! I naively thought they are diodes because they were in a bag full of diodes.. But to be sure, I measured its I-V characteristic right now :
So they look like diodes, with a forward voltage of about 10V. I'll look if I find a HV power supply to test them further in reverse; if I'm lucky enough I'll also be able to do this capacitance test..
