Hi guys
I need some advice on fiber optic stuff from those with experience with it. I need to transmit HF drive signal up to some 500kHz with support for DC levels, over just a couple of meters.
I'm interested which particular transmission and reception devices should I look for - I was told HFBR series supports DC, but they seem to be kind of obsolete. I'm also not certain which cable to pick for certain transmitter/receiver pairs, does it matter at all as long as the connector fits?
I was looking at these transmitters and receivers:
And this cable:
Would they be a match?

the fiber receivers that I,ve come across lately all seem to be for serial data transmission with no facility for dc or even l.f. Probably the easiest would be a v/f at the transmit side and a f/v at the receiver. v/f and f/v converters are cheap and quite linear.
