I normally rarely to never touch high voltage stuff but since i dident have anything to do for the past few days because my computer broke down, i decided to build a little ZVS driver and have a go at audio modulating it.
Heres how it turned out:
The power supply is 18VDC 160VA(two 80VA transformers in parallal) and a smoothing capacitance in the order of half a farad.
For the audio modulation i put a transformer in series with the power supply.

You can PWM the series inductor with a high-side switch, but a clamp diode from gnd is needed. I think the inductor can be put to the negative of the driver with a little modification, then you can PWM it with a low side switch.

I tryed a audio modulated ZVS to , i imposed the audio on the gates of the mosfets via a capacitor connected to the gate then to a audio signal , supply was 40 volts and there was 12 volts on the gate drive ,
Arcs where similar to a normal ZVS , and it played music very very quite but the quallity was no bad :D

I just commented on Experimentonomen's statement that there's just one way to do it... There is at least one more way and that's the PWM I mentioned, and it's lossless. You just need to use the single inductor circuit.
