My ZVS is dead atm, and I have to get a one new MOSFET, and I was bored so I mad ethe 2N3055 driver, and I wasnted to increase output like this

Link2

I use:

35v 1000uF cap (all I have)

250v MKP 22nF very small caps

a RU47 200v 1a I think fast diode

The output is increase by a minuscule amount.

I also use 33Ohm resistor, and a 270Ohm resistor as I couldnt find the 240 and 27 ohm resistors which were called for in the schematic, for some reason this link I posted needs to use a 470Ohm resistor, (is 270Ohms good enough?)

Why isn't my flyback output being boosted?

One really simple circuit (needing only two parts) that uses a 2n3055 and can also drive the horizontal deflection transistors from televisions, is this one. The downside is that the arc is rather small but I think a great way to get started in HV.

Sorry for the poor picture quality.

Hmm, I already have tried the ZVS, I'm goign to fix it, so I'm not very new, but I'm not very experienced.

I just want to make the arc like the improved 2n3055 driver in the link I posted.

Ah right, I guess just order some new MOSFET's then, were you using the IRFP260?
