Hello.
I will be needing some way of connecting the coils of my coilgun to the wiring going to my cap bank. I am not familiar with designing these kind of things, and could need some feedback. Mainly, what can be used as interconnectors between magnet wire and regular wire, while still having the option of easy coil removal? I imagine there are some sorts of screw terminals that can be used.
I will also be requiring some sort of connector that can be solded onto PCB-boards, that will connect to a fairly thick wire (4 mm diameter). I assume such a connector can also be acquired to fit the gauge of my magnet wire.
Lastly, have a look at the picture here. It's how I am imagining antiparallell diode to be connected to the coil. It also allows me to easily disconnect the coil with the screw terminals. Due to the shape of the power diode (it looks like in the drawing), I thought connecting it like this would be the easiest way to do it. Any thoughts on this design? Also, are there screw terminals like the ones in this drawing? They'll need to be screwed onto the copper bar somehow.
I've been looking on digi-key, but their assortment of connectors are so huge I have no idea where to start.

i use 5.5mm gold bullet connectors i had laying around from a unused boat speed control. i have used them with my 1 kj scar coilgun with no issues. the are easy to disconnect and can handel a couple hundred continous amps.
