How can I get more voltage out of ZVS driver?

I've tried many different inductors, now I'm using one with 25t of the thickest wire I have, and if I add more capacitors, my PSU shuts down from too much power being pulled, I can only use about 6+6t to stop PSU from shutting down, so how can I get more voltage?

Saturday I'm going to get 2 PC's, for the power supplies.

I also made a 65W induction heater, it can turn a screwdriver red hot, pretty good considering I ran it on 65W.

By using a larger PSU/battery's that can supply more current and voltage. Your PSU shutting off means that is can not handle the load.

The difference I get from my ZVS on 24v and 36v is quite big, plus I use lead acid battery's.

Yes, I've seen one of your videos showing it on 36v, very good arcs, but I don;t mind so much about current, but voltage is better. I'll get two ATX PSU's for 24v at 15a~, can the ZVS handle that current?

Yes the ZVS can handle that current, are you using it to drive a flyback or induction heater? With a flyback on 24v my ZVS draws around 8-10 amps. It will only draw what it "needs", so you could have a power supply capable of supplying 1000's of amps but it will draw a fraction of that.

If you are driving a flyback transformer then according to this video Link2 the larger the inductor then the more output voltage you should get. That is 47uH vs a 560uH, however the difference was not that noticeable.

I have wt ached that video,I have tried a lot of inductors, but no difference on my ZVS. When I get PC PSU's, I will add more capacitors in parallel, because my current PSU pulls too much current :(

So you can only feed the ZVS more voltage? and it will only pull the current needed. My current PSU is fail, when I try dual flyback it shuts down :( only not to make it shut down is inductive ballast :(

I will also be powering my induction heater when I get more power. Atm it can turn screwdriver red hot, using 5 turns of thin wire, wire doesn't get really how but screwdriver does.

Thanks!

Try using less turns and a smaller tank cap.
