Finally Tom Williamson's ZVS driver he made for me arrived today, powering it with 19v 3.25a 65w (says 24v on multimeter for some reason) I was powering a flyback (large one) and for some reason my PSU turns off, and while powering a small flyback (from portable tv) it doesn't turn off.

Well anyway, what are the list uses for the ZVS?

Also how can I get more voltage from the ZVS? I added another tank capacitor to the ZVS, but my PSU pulls too much current and shuts off...really need batteries, but I gave them away, challenge accepted.

Also been looking for ZVS SSTC...

For more voltage, decrease the number of primary turns. You'll probably have to adjust the tank cap after that.

I have done that But 3+3 in minimum or my PSU won't even start.

Sounds like you need a bigger power supply, one that can do 36v @ 13 amps. Id recommend lead acid battery's, but don't get any with a capacity lower than 7AH.

Easiest PSU - rewind a MOT and rectify it.

Uses of a flyback driver:
-Jacobs ladder
-Ion lifter (DC transformer only)
-Plasma ball (AC transformer only)
-SGTC (DC only)
-X-ray experiments (DC)
-Ion wind motor (DC)
-Marx generator (DC)
-Voltage multiplier (AC)
-Kirlian photography

Can't get my hands on a MOT :( My town is terrible.

I can get my hands on as many PC's as I want, and also old electronics, there is a factory near me that makes boats, and other inflatables. They have a large metal bin there they thrown out everything, PC's, CRT's, halogen lamps (massive ones), sodium, deep fat frier's, fans too big to fit in my car, you name it. So then looks like I'm going to have to get 2 PC's, for atleast 24v.

I know this isn't HV, but I just made a induction heater, I used 4+4 turns, and 8 on secondary flyback core, and a coil of 6 turns from a RF choke? from a TV, don't know the AWG maybe 18~, anyway because of my available PSU, I can only power it to 35volts
on 3.25a which is 115w, it can turn a screwdirver red hot in short time...

Pretty efficient considering, I haven't got any inductance meter, and standard cap on ZVS.
