I have been frustrated like some others trying to find some TO-220-5 type mosfet drivers. it had been a while since I bought some so I had to make a search and this is what I found. apparently IXYS is now CLARE semiconductors for drivers hear is the link.

Link2

also others have TO-220-5 drivers just go hear

Link2

and go to •PMIC - MOSFET, Bridge Drivers - External Switch, and go to TO-220-5 under package/case
I am happy they still make them since they are needed for some of my PCB's

It appears IXYS is the parent and CLARE is the child corp... i hope they dont screw me out of some of the DIP case types i need.

There's no point in using the Clare gate drivers if you're using a DIP package, seeing as TI samples the UCC37322 (and 'tis semi-ethical for you to get them too; last time I checked you could fill out "student project" on the form).
You want to use the Clare stuff when you need the higher dissipation of the TO-220 package.

im hoping to be able to get the IXBD4410PI 14 pin DIP, and the IXBD4411PI 14pin dip for sometime as i have boards and devices already made for awhile out.

I haven't tried them yet but there is 30A IXDD630CI
I wonder if they have a lower on resitance to get the 30A rating. hay Patrick aren't the ixbd4410 and 4411 the half bridge drivers how do they work out for you?

They work real well, i hoping to continue using them as long as their made.\

As for your resistance comment, i belive the silicon doping and die geometry is what allows the fast charge change, in these devices. Not just a lower and lower Rds.
