Hi all.
Thought I'd share with you my current work on mini Geiger counters...
So far the plan here (tested, mostly works) is to use two HV852's and a PIC 10F200 to power a small SBM21 tube from a PC sound card's microphone input.
these chips only draw 500uA at low clocks EDIT:- Doesen't work as well as I thought, its closer to 2mA at any sensible load. Might work better with a single HV852 running a C/W multiplier.
Any ideas? I have a few spare chips here, if anyon has a use.
