This morning i took apart a ferrite transformer that i removed from a ATX power supply. But after i dried it (i had left it overnight into an alcohol solution to remove the epoxy that keeps the I and E parts of the core) i noticed that it was broken in 3 places.
The question is : can i glue the ferrite core back or it will not work (i'm planning to use it as a Mazzili ZVS transformer)?

Do i need a special type of glue (such as the one that was original used to glue the 2 pieces together) or any type of glue? As i imagine, it only needs to be strong enough to hold for a long time.
