I was trying out my induction heater after letting it sit all summer. this is what I saw for the current tracing. The negative peak turns up and down again. Before I take each component apart, maybe someone can narrow it down for me. I am thinking it is the reverse current diode. I've also included the circuit. The gate waveforms all look good. The current output is taken across R15 in the schematic off of the current sensing coil.

circuit is at:

You are measuring just the supply current, this tells nothing about output current.

I’m surprised the waveform is not symmetrical, have you verified that the mosfets are both ok? Perhaps one is conducting more than the other somehow.
Is the yellow trace the wave on the gate transformer?

Well, after a lot of crazy nights I figured it out. The blue current tracing is the current to the coupling transformer. The yellow is the inverter high voltage.

I posted more of the waveforms and my solution on my tutorial page for those interested in induction heaters. I have several trouble-shooting waveforms in case others get into similar situations they don't have to go crazy trying to figure it out.
