This tube coil is powered by a 10kva 7200 volt pole transformer with half wave voltage double using 7uf capacitance in the shifting capacitors. Here are the specs.

resonant frequency 360 kc
secondary coil 4.5" diameter wound with 20 gauge wire to 30"
Primary coil 12.5" diameter using 37 turns of bi filler wound 12 gauge wire.
primary capacitor a bunch of ceramic capacitors in series for 220 pf
grid leak resistor 4000 Ohms
power input about 35 kve
spark length 51 inches

Wow Roger, that burning CW flame with branches flying out, that is just beautiful!

I can hear from the video that it is louder than the forced air cooling, but exactly how loud is it compared to a SGTC? VTTCs tend to have a softer sound, but this seems massive!

Beautiful picture in your post of the spark, great job on this coil :)
