just discovered an electronics store near where I live that sells etching solutions and copper clad boards. been thinking of making a PCB for my ZVS long ago. permanent marker works for a quick and dirty job but looks horrible
is cutting out trace stencils the only thing that I can do? because I don't have a laser printer at home to do the magazine and cloth iron method. like in here -->

I would say that getting a free old laser printer from someone, or a cheap of craigslist etc. would be worth the trouble. The toner transfer method is superior in being quick, easy and costless for DIY
