On the flip side, if they end up triggering the next Ice Age then "I told you so"..

Have they considered just leaving the climate alone? Nature will find a way, without us throwing a monkey wrench into things.

not sure how pipe+balloon=volcano, but doesn't water vapor in the atmosphere also contribute to the green house effect?
