Dead time IGBT bridge

Hi,
when designing the minimum deadtime in an IGBT bridge, do I consider just the turn-off delay time for the off part or should I calculate with tdoff + fall time? From IGBT data sheets I have seen, the "fall time" is really just a current fall time after the voltage has commutated, so the other transistor can switch after the first one's turn off delay time right? I hope it's understandable.
