Hi all.
Any ideas what the mysterious gold powder is which appears to be leaking from this car boot sale Telecran (French copy of Etch a Sketch) ?
I would take an educated guess that it is brass, but the powder seems incredibly fine.
Would expect that if I was to use vinegar and it doesen't dissolve this would suggest a noble metal ?
Whatever it is, the powder somewhat mixes with acetone..
I was hoping to use it for conducting adhesive experiments as a substitute for silver.
