I built my uzzors boost charger and it works great. I am wanting to cut down my charging time, so I thought that using a lipo battery would help. I have used lipos in the past and know their dangers, and know how to properly handle them, but I didn't know how my circuit would respond. I'm definitely a noob when it comes to circuts and understanding the little idiosyncrasies of what works and how it will work so please bear with me. Can I simply just replace the AA pack with a lipo pack? Any advise is useful!
If your pack isn't protected, you might want to add a low-voltage cutoff; that circuit looks like it'd run down past the safe discharge point for a lipo pack.
