Pencil Theremin

A small project but a project none the less:
it's based off the design by Jay Silver with a few changes. The closer you move your finger to the pencil, the louder and higher pitched it plays. Think of the pencil line on a paper as a linear POT.

It isn't quite finished, I still have to glue the board and speaker in place and I will post a video of it in action tomorrow.

I finished the video
I switched out the usb cable for a 9v battery so that i could transport the theremin around
Sorry about the message in the middle of the video, I used a free trial to make it

A side note: A highlighter actually works better than graphite
