Does any one still use these or remember the dry etch tranfer thingies from Radio shack? they dont sell them anymore, but maybe someone knows where to get them?

I used to use the ones from Radio Shack all the time. I've had no luck trying to find anything similar anywhere elsewhere. If you should happen to find a source, please let me know.

Patrick there are some for sale on Ebay right now, but you have to hurry because the sale ends pretty soon. The seller has them listed as "etch-resistant dry transfers".

I have several packs hanging in the garage, but the change in temperature ages the glue, probably no good now, I dunno.
Now I pretty much use a paint pen, not sharpie, because the paint doesn't wear through during etch. The paint stands up against most situations, but the last fast etch with HCL/peroxide didn't do too well, but survived. Anywho, paint works better then the sharpie and usually doesn't give me too much trouble.

Get yourself a roll of fine pinstripers tape. I use it and it works great! I still have some of those transfers from radio shack but i dont know how good they are anymore. Theyre about 4 years old.
