how to build a microwave antenna?

hi,
i wanna build an antenna for detecting microwaves, what would be the simplest method for doing this? i thought 2 wires at the correct wavelength apart, but i dont know
plz help!

Google "biquad" 
these are easy to make, all you need is a piece of flat PCB and the appropriate amount of copper wire. Ideally use the solid core stuff found in abundance on house cable, they normally throw it away if it is too short etc.
You will need to make a microwave turn to connect it to your BNC or whatever you are using.
