I am making a mini iPod amp and i bought a 12v 1.3Ah battery to power it, i also bought a 12v 1 amp trickle charger. My question is Could someone use the amp as the battery is charging? The only amp draws about a milliamp or two.
Side note: the smile button doesn't work with Google chrome any fixes?

Yes that should be fine, it will just divert some/all of the charging current to the amplifier. But unless it's a really tiny headphone amplifier I think it must draw more than a milliamp or two.

That may be true, I set my multimeter to measure current and it was sent on A it looked like this 0.18A so is that 18 milliamps or .1 milliamp. I have only used this setting twice. :|

1.3Ah means it can (in theory) deliver 1.3A for one hour before running flat. In practice it will be less: the battery makers specify it over 10 hours, over which period it would deliver 130mA. Faster discharges are less efficient.
So if it supplies 130mA for 10 hours, how long can it supply 180? You do the math.
PS: These SLA batteries last longer if you keep them topped up and don't run them completely flat often. Leaving one lying around discharged for weeks is the kiss of death.
PPS: A 1 amp charger seems a bit too powerful for this tiny battery. It will try to charge it in 2 hours and then go on to wreck it. I charge the larger 4Ah ones at 0.5A.
