The aforementioned have contributed financially to the continuing triumph of 4hv.org. They are deserving of my most heartfelt thanks.
I recently saw in youtube (search for "sea water antenna") a video where a guy is doing a reception in VHF using a sea water geyser, thus making a monopole antenna.
I was curious, could anyone use multiple geysers and make a directional antenna? Maybe a conical one or a horn?

Hi there, Panos.
Experimental liquid antennas have attracted a lot of attention over the last 20 years, but never seem to break through into the mainstream.
Variable frequency ionic liquid antennas have been tuned by pumping a column of electrolyte - say CuSO4 solution - up the inside of a vertical tube until the right length has been achieved for resonance.
At VLF/ELF very high power experimental antennas have been made using the sea water around the circumference of an island as the tuned length - a variation of the slot in an (ideally) infinite metal plate often seen in UHF arrays.
I see no reason why vertical ionic liquid antennas - whether as columns inside a tube, or as free-standing jets - would not work in an Adcock directional antenna array.
If you Google Ionic Liquid Antenna and Magneto-Hydrodynamic Antenna you'll find much that will interest you

Freudian slip?
Just can't stop yourself thinking about it, can you, Patrick? I can not recommend too strongly the night-time use of cast iron restraints as an impediment to temptation, a most necessary practice for the avoidance of Satan's snares.
