I finally decided to drop XP completely and move Ubuntu up to pole position on my computer. However this causes a problem with my eMail account. As I'm sure you all know Microsoft no longer support IMAP and charge for POP3 so the only way I can recive my mail is to logon to hotmail.com. Part two of the problem comes with GMail. If you live in the UK its almost impossible to signup unless someone with a GMail account invites you, so here is my plea: Can somebody with a GMail account please invite me to signup? Please. ...or does anyone know of a good "FREE" eMail provider that will work with Evoloution or Thunderbird. Cheers.

You need an invite for gmail, no matter where you live, but gmail invites are easy to get, since everyone gets like 50, and they replenish the very next day.
